Go-live guide

How to make Picturelock yours and publish it on your own domain.

Make it yours in 4 steps

Make it yours in 4 steps

01

Name, email and menu

Change “Marlo Tessendorf” in the Navigation component and the footer, and your email in the footer and the closing lines. The menu links live in the Navigation component, so one edit updates every page.

02

Your reel

Select the hero on the home page. Paste a YouTube or Vimeo link into Video link, swap the Hero still and set Focus X and Focus Y on your subject. Keep the subject in the centre third so every format crop keeps it.

03

Your work

Open the Work collection in the CMS. Add one item per video: Format Code LF, SF, AD or MV sets the frame shape, Poster is the still, Video link is a YouTube, Vimeo or MP4 link, and Featured puts it on the home page.

04

Rates, about and the form

Edit the rates on the home and Rates pages, the About text and portrait, and the Book page. In the form settings, set Send to as your own email address, then send yourself a test.

How

In Framer, open Site Settings, then Domains, and add your domain. A custom domain needs a paid site plan.

Plan

Picturelock works on the Basic plan: it uses 9 pages and 1 CMS collection (Work), inside Basic’s 30 pages and 2 collections.

Checked

Checked on framer.com/pricing on 8 October 2026.

Good to know

The booking form has no file upload (Framer forms don’t take files), so it asks clients for footage links. Light and dark mode follow each visitor’s device setting: every colour style has a light and a dark value, so change both.

Before you publish

Before you publish

01

Replace every demo clip and poster with your own work, and delete any Work items you don’t need.

02

Set where the booking form sends, then send yourself a test.

03

Set your site title, description, favicon and social image in Site Settings.

04

The site follows each visitor’s light or dark setting. To keep one look, give each colour style the same light and dark value.

05

Keep “Disable movement animations” on in Site Settings, General.

06

Delete this guide page and its footer link.
